Welcome to Victoria Relph Millinery Designs.

Victoria is an artist and textile designer, specializing in millinery. She graduated from the University of Cumbria with a First Class BA (Hons) degree in Contemporary Applied Art in 2008 and has gone on to study traditional millinery techniques with Rose Cory, former milliner to the Queen Mother.

Brought up on a Lakeland hill farm, Victoria continues to be a keeper and breeder of both sheep and poultry. This enables her to use both her own and locally sourced wool and feathers in combination with natural dye and an array of other natural materials including sinamay, straw and silk.

Victoria unites her passion for natural history, art, textile design and stitch with that of historical research to create unique, stylish, individual headwear. The emphasis is on high quality stitch and manipulation techniques of her own design.

Headwear can be transformed through a variety of detachable and replaceable feather and embellished mounts, offering the environmentally conscious wearer a welcome alternative.
